Karen Blixen Camp is the perfect place to sit back and relax with a gin and tonic overlooking the Mara River and the wildlife coming to drink, whilst exchanging stories about the day’s adventures.
The camp is located in the exclusive private, award winning conservation area, the Mara North Conservancy. The conservancy adjoins the Masai Mara Game Reserve and stretches north between the Mara River and the Olare River up to the Lemek Hills which it includes as well – with its 32,000 hectares and low vehicle density, the visitor is granted a private and exclusive wilderness experience away from the masses and minivans.
The Masai Mara holds a great diversity of species and it is advisable if time permits to spend at least 3 or 4 nights here.

During the Migration Season (mid July – end October) we will spend the whole day game viewing in the Masai Mara Game Reserve.
