A journey with lots of contrast from the game enriched plains of the
famous Serengeti to the salt pans of Lake Manyara. A further high point
of your journey is the Ngorongoro crater and Ol’Duvai gorge, both unique
sites and a must for any visitor to Tanzania. This safari can be used as
a stand alone safari or as an add on to the Elephant trails safari,
Premium Safari or Highlights of Kenya safari.

Arrive and transfer to Nairobi Hotel. Overnight The Stanley Hotel or

Wednesday
Nairobi
Arusha
Morning transfer to Arusha for lunch.
After lunch drive to Lake Manyara. a mineral lake lying in the Rift
Valley.
Dinner and over night in Lake Manyara Serena Hotel. (FB)
Thursday
Masai Mara Game Reserve
Morning game
drives in Lake Manyara National Park, the home of the so-called
‘Tree Lions’. Apart from the varied types of landscape including
jungle, swamp and savanna, there are also a large variety of animals
including Giraffe, Zebra, Elephant, Gazelle and about 350 different
species of birds. After lunch you drive through the hilly landscape
and into the plains of Serengeti.

Friday
Lake Manyara National Park
Serengeti National
Park.
Today you
spend the whole day on game drive in this National Park, which is
rich with all different species of animals. To give you a better
chance of seeing the big five (Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Buffalo and
Rhino) you will carry a picnic lunch with you and spend the full day
in the Serengeti National Park.

Saturday
Serengeti National Park
Morning game
drives in Serengeti. After lunch drive to Ngororongo Crater with a
stop on the way at Ol’duvai gorge. Here in the ‘cradle of mankind’
the skull of a human being was found believed to be the oldest ever
at 1.75 million years old. Dinner and overnight Ngorongoro Serena

Sunday
Serengeti National Park Ngorongoro Crater
Early in the morning the safari begins with a four wheel
drive car down the steep valley (about 600 m) into the crater. The
crater is known for its unusual seights, including the rare black
Rhinos. Picnic on route in the crater near a water spot where Hippos
can be watched. Return for lunch in the lodge. Afternoon at leisure.

Arusha
After breakfast drive to Arusha for lunch. Transfer to
Nairobi arriving at approx. 18:00
